Application options of plate conveyor
Plate conveyor for the horizontal conveyance of bulk material and unit load.
Plate conveyor for the conveyance of products with an arbitrary ascent angle, bend upwards and horizontal discharge

Plate conveyor dimensions in mm
The plate conveyor is exposed to extreme loading: Boulders weighing many tons are discharged into the feed hopper by a loader, compressed scrap vehicles and heavy metal parts are loaded onto the plate conveyor using crane claws and must be conveyed. On especially heavily loaded positions, such as e.g. in the discharge areas, so-called impact rails are used that help to dampen the blows.
In many applications, the plate conveyor is used for feeding crushers (rock and stone) or shears and shredders (metal recycling); thereby, a constant flow must be ensured. Using frequency-controlled drives, the conveyance speed of the plate conveyor can be coordinated with the machine downstream.
Further examples of use
- Paper and carton industry: Plate conveyors are used for the transportation of complete tree trunks, cellulose packages weighing tons and for discharging waste paper from storage hoppers.
- Refuse Incineration Plants (RIP): Discharge from storage hopper and transportation of slag.
